Creativity and Craft Production in Bronze Age Europe

An investigation into the ambiguous nature of prehistoric artefacts, the speculation and understanding of such object’s functions and the material culture embodied within them. Through the exploration of utility, intention, aesthetic, context and display, the value of non-functional objects is called into question. Viewers are invited to define and apply their own meaning to the ceramic outcomes, allowing them to develop there own biography.

Hand thrown deconstructed ceramic vessels reassembled using eathernware and lead free tin glazes.
