The Nakedness of Construction

A selection of work inspired by scenarios of everyday life from emerging artists and designers, the Nakedness of Construction is a work-in-progress show that evolved during the week that we inhabited the Menier gallery, London as we responded to the local environment and invited audiences to participate alongside us.

As makers of objects we are also responding to objects; our relationships with them; the experiences of interacting with them; how they connect us to each other; and how they carry meanings, status and tell stories.

Using drawing to facilitate the relationship between thinking and making, thus bridging the gap between two and three dimensions, we aim to show our working processes, from conception through to realisation, in this evolutionary work-in-progress exhibition.
